The trail is the Strawberry trail  & Doe trail up around Wellington lake. The trail is an out & back of about 20 to 25 miles depending on where you turn back. Mostly rolling single track  with several fun techniacal sections. The bonus is Strawberry Lake for a lunch stop & a cool dip if needed. Evelation gain about 1000 feet. Moderate technical & Modeate fitness. A good place to regroup if lost before the ride is the Safeway in Frasier at 9:15am to caravan to the ride trailhead.

This is a typical high country trail - narrow, steep and rocky. However, it also offers lots of relaxing smooth sections you can take a rest on and have some fun. It is ideal to ride in a hot Summer day. Altitude cools the air down and breeze is refreshing. Last but not least - views from large meadows on ragged mountains around are fabulous. You can enjoy them in solitude even in mid of tourist season.
