Ride Description

The joy of this ride is exquisite, tight singletrack, rhythmically flowing, and breath-taking views of Ten Mile Range. It's advisable to step off the bike to admire these views, as riding off trail may be quite uncomfortable.

An approach to this traditional ride from the west side due to excess snow on the usual trail. A climb up an overgrown logging road joins the Colorado Trail. Here begins the payback. There are multiple escape routes in case of weather, or simply having too much fun. Ride length will be 15 to 25 miles, as the group chooses. Climbs may be extended, but only a few short (!) ones are granny gear. The downhills are more extended. Minimal technical ability is required, and the trail is highly suitable to hardtails.

Food, libations, hot tub available post-ride.
