Meet at the Bergen Park Park and Ride for an 8:00 am departure.

Bergen Park, El Rancho, Floyd Hill, Kermits’s Bar, Hidden Valley Exit I-70, Central City Parkway to Central City, Highway 119, Golden Gate Canyon, Golden, Bergen Park.

From Bergen Park take Highway 74 east 2 miles to El Rancho. From El Rancho take old Highway 40 west 5.5 miles to the top of Floyd Hill. Descend Floyd Hill 2 miles to the junction with Highway 6. Turn left (west) on 6 and ride ½ mile to Kermits Bar. From Kermit’s take a left onto the I-70 eastbound on ramp to the bike path. Ride the bike path west 1.5 miles to the Hidden Valley Exit (243) and the Central City Parkway. Ride the Parkway 7.5 miles to just past the high point, and exit the short 20’ bike path (gravel) to CR 6. Follow CR 6 ¼ mile south to CR 279, take a right turn on CR 279 (east), then turn left on Roworth Rd and ride 1 mile into Central City. From Central City ride ¾ miles to highway 119. Take 119 5 miles to the junction of highway 46 (Golden Gate Canyon). Ride 17 miles down Golden Gate Canyon to Highway 93 north of Golden. From Golden Gate Canyon and Highway 93 ride south on Highway 93 approximately 2 miles to 19th Street. Take the Lariat Loop Rd 9 miles to Genesee Park, then I-70 and Evergreen Parkway 5 miles back to Bergen Park.

Round Trip: 56 miles 7,500 ft. elevation gain.
