Meet at the Bergen Park Park and Ride for a 9:30 am departure.

Bergen Pk., Highway 74 to El Rancho, I-70 to Genesee Pk., at Genesee Pk. take Highway 40 to I-70/Morrison Exit, Colo. 26 to Morrison, Highway 74 to Kittredge & Evergreen, Meadow Dr. to Douglas Pk. Rd., Douglas Pk. Rd. to Highway 74 back to Bergen Park. Option: 1/3 mile up Meadow Dr. take Fireweed, Alpine Dr., S. Valley Dr. and Valley Dr., Buchanan Dr., Sage Cr., Ponderosa Dr., Highway 74 back to Bergen Pk.

From Bergen Park take Highway 74 east and north 2 miles to El Rancho. At El Rancho get on I-70 for 2 miles to Genesee Pk. From Genesee Pk. follow Highway 40 east for 5 miles down Mt. Vernon Canyon to the I-70 exit to Morrison. Turn right (south), ride under the I-70 overpass onto Colo. 26. Follow Colo. 26 south 3 miles into Morrison. At the stoplight (bike shop directly across from the stoplight) turn right (west) onto Colo. 8. Follow Colo. 8 to the west end of Morrison where it turns into Highway 74, then ride west and south up Bear Creek Canyon for 10 miles to Evergreen. Turn right (west) just past the Bradley gas station onto Meadow Dr. Follow Meadow Dr. past the 7-11 for 1 mile. Meadow Dr. turns into Douglas Park Rd., then intersects with Highway 74. Turn right (north) on Highway 74 and head up the hill 4 miles back to the Bergen Park Park and Ride. Option: Alpine Drive Spur  After turning off Highway 74 onto Meadow Dr., continue 1/3 mile to Fireweed. Turn right (north) onto Fireweed as it curves around west then back east to Alpine Dr. Turn left (north) onto Alpine Dr. which leads to a ½ mile, 15% grade climb. Continue up Alpine Dr. as it turns into S. Valley Dr. then Valley Dr. At the intersection of Valley Dr. and Buchanan Dr., turn left (west) and follow Buchanan Dr. as it winds around the original Hiwan Hills neighborhood and turns into Sage Cr. then Ponderosa Dr. Follow Ponderosa Dr. to the stoplight and turn right (north) onto Highway 74 and continue 3.5 miles north back to Bergen Park.

Round trip: 29 miles 2,650 ft. elevation gain. w/Option: 29.5 miles 3,000 ft. elevation gain.

Meet at the Whipple Tree for lunch at 12:00 pm.
