Team Evergreen Bicycle Club Oktoberfest Party
On behalf of the Team Evergreen Board of Directors, we would like to invite you to the annual end-of-season social this year at the Evergreen Lake House on October 28th. We have two rides scheduled -- one road, one mountain -- beginning at 10:00 and 9:30 a.m. (details below). After the rides we'll meet back at the Lake House for lunch and a full program starting at 12:30. You don't have to ride to join us, though, and even if the weather is bad we'll be getting together to celebrate the year!
We've got some exciting news from the 2012 Triple Bypass, presentations to our partner charitable groups, the annual Ride Leader Draft, and more!

This event is free to our members and $20 for non-members. Consider renewing now if your membership has lapsed.

VOLUNTEERS
We can use 3 or 4 people to help with the day's events if you'd be willing. We need help setting up tables, checking in guests.

RIDE LEADER DRAFT
The Ride Leader Draft will be for the Weekend Road and Mountain Bike Ride Schedules. Members who lead a ride in 2013 will earn automatic entry (payment required at registration) into the 2014 Triple Bypass! 2013 Ride schedules coming soon.
TEAM EVERGREEN RACING
If you've been interested in toeing the line for a road or mountain bike race, time-trialing or cyclo-cross, members from our racing team will be present to answer any questions you might have. There will be a fit kit to help you with clothing decisions for the 2013 race season!

Road Bike Ride Starts at the Bergen Park Park & Ride, Colo 65 & Evergreen Pkwy at 10am.
Your Ride Leaders: Alan Kahn and Paul Foley. Meet 9:45 ready to ride by 10 a.m.
Park in the Lake House parking lot (see website for additional information).
Oct 28 Mtn Bike Info:
Mtn. Bike Ride Starts at the Lake House Parking Lot at 9:30am.
Your Ride Leaders: Bob Campbell and Jerry Haynie. Meet at 9:15am, ready to ride at 9:30am. Park on the southwest side of the Lake House parking lot. We will gather at the southeast end of the lot and ride towards the golf course along the lake (see website for additional information).

MEDIA ADVISORY WHAT: On Sunday, October 28, Team Evergreen will present $227,050 in Triple Bypass proceeds to representatives of more than 80 local nonprofit organizations (list available upon request). With this year's distribution, Team Evergreen has donated over $1.1 million of Triple Bypass proceeds to more than 1,200 local nonprofits since the inception of the ride in 1988. WHO: Representatives from Team Evergreen and Recipient Nonprofit Organizations The Team Evergreen Bicycle Club was founded in 1988 and is based in Evergreen, Colorado at the crest of the foothills. Team Evergreen is a nonprofit 501(c)(4) organization with more than 650 members –the largest bicycle club in Colorado. Team Evergreen is deeply involved with bicycle and community organizations to support the promotion of cycling.
